While I agree with her conclusion from seeing the use of critical thinking techniques learned in other fields applied to tech, the application of using a Liberal Arts degree in a tech field will be messy.
What would be better if tech related degrees focused on critical thinking skills. Right out of the gate these are useful with proper understanding of original sources.
I have seen troubleshooting, data gathering and reporting skills learned in other industries and fields successfully applied to tech when the original sources were considered from the onset.
