- TFS/Visual Studio 2012 Update 3 CTP 1 is available (think "Batch of Bug Fixes" release) & Microsoft released Visual Studio 2012 Update 3 CTP 1 within 10 days – Greg Duncan and Kunal Chowdhury highlight the first CTP release of the next Visual Studio 2012 Update. Update 3 currently focuses on a number of bugfixes and is available for Express, Full Visual Studio and TFS installations
Azure IaaS
- Windows Azure: General Availability of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) – Scott Guthrie announces the General Availability release of Infrastructure as a Service on Windows Azure, with Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Networking, and a collection of Virtual Machine templates pre-configured with Microsoft Software now available to all. Virtual Machines also now offers even larger machines with increased memory and also updated pricing.

- NuGet 2.5 Release Candidate – The NuGet Team announce the release of the release candidate of NuGet 2.5, with a planned actual release by the end of April, so the team are especially interested in you testing the new release before then. This release marks a major update, with over 160 work items in the release, and features including allowing file overwrites, Update All, Minimum NuGet Version, and much more
- NCLDR 0.0.0.7-Alpha Release Notes – Guy Smith Ferrier announces the release of an updated alpha release of NCLDR, and open source port of CLDR (Common Locale Data Repository) to .NET, which provides a much richer source of localisation information han that in the .NET Framework Core.
- Hello Sencha Touch 2.2 – Aditya Bansod highlights the release of Sencha Touch 2.2, a JavaScript Framework for constructing mobile web applications which run across multiple platforms, now including Blackberry and Internet Explorer 10

- Service Bus Explorer 2.0 released – Paolo Salvatori announces the release of Version 2 of Service Bus Explorer, an impressive tool for working with the Windows Azure Service Bus, allowing you to easily see the status and various metrics about your service bus
- PhoneGap 2.6.0 Released! – Steve Gill and the PhoneGap team announce the release of PhoneGap 2.6.0, mostly a bugfixing release to this cross platform mobile application framework.
