• SubSonic 2.2 Released – Rob Conery announces the release of SubSonic 2.2, his data access solution targeted for web development. This is a maintanence release fixing a number of bugs and issues.
• Pex, QuickGraph, MbUnit, Reflector Addins – Pex v0.10.40408.0: NUnit, MbUnit, xUnit.Net, Visual Basic.NET, F# and more – Jonathan "Peli" de Halleux announces a new release of PEX (don’t be confused by the version number, 0.10 comes after 0.9 in their scheme). This release includes support fo the three main .NEt testing frameworks along with support for writing test in F# and VB.NET and some enhancements of the PEX framework
• Prepare for Automatic Update distribution of IE8 – Eric Hebenstreit of the Internet Explorer Team talks about the plan for the automated updates release of Internet Explorer 8
• BlogEngine.NET 1.5 Released – Al Nyveldt announces the release of version 1.5 of BlogEngine.NET, a swift follow up to the release candidate of last week.
• Lightweight Test Automation Framework April Release – The Asp.Net QA Team announce the April release of the Lightweight Test Automation Framework for ASP.NET, with an improved user interface and some new framework features

As many of you will be aware, this weekend is the Easter Bank Holiday weekend in the UK, meaning that Friday and Monday are public holidays. In keeping with Morning Brew Tradition (and my like for the occasional lie-in in the morning) there will be no edition of the Morning Brew on Friday or Monday, with the Brew returning on Tuesday with what usually ends up being one of the biggest posts of the year.

• ReSharper 4.5 Released! – JetBrains announce the final release of ReSharper 4.5, a free upgrade for any users on V4.x which offers a vast number of performance improvements and feature enhancements
• NUnit 2.5 Beta 3 Release – Version 2.5.0.9096 – The NUnit Team announce the release of their 3rd (and most likely final) beta release of V2.5. This release moves the test runner to a pure .NET 2.0 application, along with a number of framework enhancements
• NCover v3.0.20 released! – The NCover team announce the release of v3.0.20 of their NCover code coverage tool, with support for multiple reports to be generated, improvements in memory consumption and some new samples, along with a few bugfixes

• SQL Server 2008 SP1 and Report Builder Update – Robert Bruckner highlights the release of Service Pack 1 for SQL Server 2008, which rolls up Cumulative Updates 1,2 and 3 with a few more fixes, and the April update to the Feature Pack which includes an updated ReportBuilder 2.0
• MEF preview 5 released – Wes, of the Managed Extensibility Framework Team announces the release of Preview 5 of MEF including a range of new features, improvements and the odd breaking change
• Announcing Velocity CTP3 ! – The Velocity Team announce their 3rd Community Technology Preview of Velocity the .NET distributed cache from Microsoft. With performance, security and installation improvements along with revised APIs and some new features this looks to be an interesting release.
